Flawless Now Fractured

Our nights in Zurich were flawless. The perfect bike date with perfect chemistry. Will spending more time with him in NYC ruin what we had?
The concept of this drink involves using one of my favorite whiskeys @suntorywhisky_hibiki which is flawless on its own. But what if we wash it with pistachio butter, then add some hazelnut syrup to further bring out the nuttiness? Then we pair the nuttiness with some elements of chocolate. It doesn’t sound too bad, right? Is less more, or do you kind of just have to live it to find out?
The drink ended up tasting so good that it got me wondering, is it really fractured, or does imperfection perfect it?
Recipe:
- Pistachio butter washed Hibiki Japanese Harmony 2oz
- 1 bar spoon of hazelnut syrup
- 1 bar spoon of white cocoa liqueur
- 2 dashes of chocolate bitters
Pour over clear ice then garnish on top with some shave white chocolate, rose petals and pistachios.
Definitely one of my favorite creations of all time in terms of the name, the meaning and the flavor. Enjoy!
