Working in a male dominated industry, us women all have our fair share of horror stories, don’t we ladies? How many times have you cried in the office bathroom? How many times have you been excluded? Or not had a seat at the table? To me, the worst scenario is when you believe that all women are your allies, but unfortunately, some harbor ill intentions. Instead of supporting each other, they bring you down.

A new world sour inspired cocktail using Pisco instead of whiskey in celebration of the badass ladies I know who enjoy a good Pisco sour. Float with red wine to hide all the built up emotions underneath the bubbly face. Just because we often choose to let shit go, doesn’t mean we will forget about it.
Remember, Karma’s a bitch, and there’s a lot of bad bitches in tech.

Recipe:

• Pisco 1.5oz

• Lime juice 0.5oz

• Simple syrup 0.5oz

• 1 Egg white

• Dry shake first (without ice) once the egg white foams up add ice to wet shake

• Pour the drink in your coupe, depends on the size of your glassware a reminder to make sure to leave some space for the wine you are about to pour in.

• Float with your choice of red wine, note that cabernet has a fuller body which will create a clearer layer whereas pinot will blend more and create an ombre effect (like the photo on the right)

• Cover the spot you pour the wine in with a garnish
